The new Xalq Həyat website on a desktop and a phone, next to a glass shield in a slanted red frame, on pink

Before and after.

The old home page, left, and the new one. The new home page makes 94 requests instead of 319 and weighs 1.9 MB instead of 2.9 MB.

The old home page in grey next to the new home page in the Xalq red

Red, from the logo outwards.

Each product has its own image in the Xalq red, so the different kinds of life insurance are told apart at a glance.

Eight product images in the Xalq red: a glass shield, a shield with a bell and a lock, a paper house held in two hands, a hard hat and hammer, an umbrella over coins, red figures in a crowd, a hand over a family and a heart

The whole home page.

Hotline, calculator, products, insurance rules, what to do after an incident, partners, personal account and news, top to bottom.

The full new home page split into two columns: hero, calculator, products, insurance rules, incident help, partners, personal account, news and footer

Calculate it, pay it, online.

The premium calculator and online payment open from any page, with compulsory and voluntary insurance paid separately.

The premium calculator and the online payment window, which splits compulsory and voluntary insurance

When something happens.

A page and a form to report an incident, which the old site did not have, with a reminder never to share passwords or card details.

The incident report page with its form, the privacy reminder window and the same page on a phone

One product, one clear page.

Who it is for, what it covers and why it matters, instead of one long block of legal text.

The compulsory life insurance page on desktop and on a phone

Built for the phone.

Products, product pages, payment and incident reporting all work on a phone.

Four phones showing the home page, the product list, a product page and the payment form

Addresses people can read.

The old site stripped Azerbaijani letters out of its addresses, even on its Russian pages, and called every page just Xalq Həyat. The new one has clean addresses and page titles in three languages.

Old and new page addresses side by side: the old ones with Azerbaijani letters stripped out, the new ones clean
